“Homeland”: Television Just Doesn’t Get Any Better

Last night my husband and I watched the second episode of “Homeland”, Season 2.  We watch everything On Demand.  It’s so great not to have to be home to watch something, isn’t it? Remember as children when we had to be home on Saturday nights to watch The Brady Bunch, The Partridge Family, and, if we were allowed to stay up extra late “Love, American Style”? If we missed our show we were screwed.  Our only chance of catching up would be summer reruns, which we would probably miss also because we were all shipped off to camp in Maine, or New Hampshire, or Vermont, or Pennsylvania, for a full eight weeks.  Our parents would probably whoop with joy when they dropped us at the bus, driving off to an eight week long party of martinis, and pool parties, and nudity.

We love “Homeland”.  It is brilliantly written, and acted.  It is scary as all hell.  It is real.

You know me.  I’m not a spoiler.  Just watch it.
