Last night our friend Susan took us to see “Beady Eyes” perform on Live at Letterman. Her husband is the executive producer and every week a different band plays a live show for an hour which is streamed on the internet and airs on radio stations.
They were cool. Very British. Half of them had Beatles’ haircuts. The cutest were the drummer and the guitarist (though there are three guitarists, so you’ll have to figure out which one. He was wearing a striped shirt if you happen to check it out, and he’s adorable).
Noel Gallagher, one of the infamous Gallagher brothers from Oasis, is the lead singer. His voice is beautiful. He wore a nylon jacket which he sweated through by the end of the hour, and he clutched a small towel (his blanky? my friend Susan guessed) to wipe the sweat off of his long sideburns and overall sweaty face. Noel, cotton or silk breath a lot better!
Anyway, they were good! We had a really good time. Fifth row. Ed Sullivan Theatre. Letterman set. It was awesome!
