Going to Tennessee

My son is going to Tennessee tomorrow to play in the National Chess Championships! He’s only fourteen years old, the youngest player on the team — the only freshman with a ranking (yes, I am the bragging mother).  They will ride on a bus there and back, saving the team money for hotels.  I am hoping that the bus has a bathroom, reclining seats, some water perhaps.

I packed a bunch of snacks so he won’t starve.  I think I’ll pack some waters too, just in case.

They’ll be somewhere outside of Nashville.  Four boys in one room.  I wouldn’t want to be “that” housekeeper!

I want to sneak into his suitcase and watch.
